Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Siemens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and Operate Warehousing and Storage Areas: Ensure that all warehousing and storage areas are maintained and operated to the highest safety standards expected by Siemens.
  • Health and Safety Leadership: Communicate health and safety responsibilities to your team and ensure that all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Training and Certification: Ensure that all materials staff are trained and certified to carry out their duties, and that all necessary training programs are in place.
  • Warranty and Quality Control: Be responsible for any warranty-related topics, including investigating and resolving issues related to substandard materials, goods, and supplies received from suppliers.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop relationships and processes with all internal and external customers to meet our requirements and ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure that all records are kept accurate and up-to-date within the CMMS (CorMap) system, and that this information is used to aid the re-ordering process and meet our KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
