About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Financial Analyst to join our team at Talent Pal. As a Business Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the business with financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses, management reporting, and financial business cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Financial Models: Create and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast business performance.
  • Conduct Financial Analysis: Analyze and report actual revenues and costs, and prepare root-cause variance analyses for management.
  • Identify Process Improvements: Collaborate with finance stakeholders and business teams to identify and develop process improvements.
  • Conduct Revenue and Cost Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management in Finance.
  • Develop KPIs: Identify and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with business teams and report them on a regular basis.
  • Ensure Financial Reporting: Ensure financial accounting and reporting is in sync with corporate and finance definitions and reports.
  • Review Budget Submissions: Review annual budget submissions in line with key management strategies and targets.
  • Control Spend: Monitor and control spend to ensure cost of sale targets are achieved and recommend measures.
  • Review Business Case Proposals: Review business case proposals for incremental revenues or cost reduction, including CMC submissions.
  • Review Contracts: Review contracts and agreements for financial compliance.
  • Consolidate Financial Results: Consolidate and analyze financial results of departments on a monthly basis and yearly during the budgeting process.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of specialist or job-related experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances, analyze and interpret data, understand business cycles, and their impact on the profit and loss account.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records and information.
  • Able to add value to internal customers.
  • Innovative thinking ability with a high degree of motivation and problem-solving skills.
