Job Title: Inventory Controller

At Precision Hire Solution, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Controller to join our team. As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory is accurately tracked and maintained throughout the entire process, minimizing stock loss risks and ensuring that stocks are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control products inputs and outputs from warehouses and other stores, escalating stock discrepancies to suppliers or senders.
  • Track and update stocks on Incoming/Outgoing Log Books and in the system.
  • Avoid products shortage by investigating on a weekly basis, performing investigations based on Stock Accuracy Checks, and segregating damages in the stock room.
  • Support management with required reports and feedback.
  • Prepare the store for marketing events, arrange for stock count procedures, and segregate stocks for easy scanning and counting purposes.
  • Accurately record the quality, quantity, type, style, and any other characteristics of the inventory, and send the information to the brand team in Dubai for further assistance with the barcode.
  • Be present during any maintenance-related work activity in the store, often in the night after store closing.
  • Manage monthly budgets and create POs, track invoices, and ensure work is completed with allocated SLAs and invoiced by the Service Provider.
  • Manage all non-merchandise assets stored inside stock rooms for business-related activity purposes.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures relating to admin and stock movement processes are strictly adhered to.
  • Process any inventory adjustments, such as for monthly damages, expired testers, transfers, and special orders.
  • Maintain accurate records for stock movement within the business.
  • Monitor DSR (Daily Sales Reconciliation) and ensure documentation is compliant, including reconciliation of cash and other tenders, daily audit of reports and collections, banking and foreign exchange, store petty cash, and credit card reconciliation.
  • Ensure all sales are reflecting SAP, investigate any discrepancies, and resolve IT calls raised.
  • Verify and process all invoices from suppliers and contractors, follow up to track pending invoices and flag pending payments, and maintain a liaison with suppliers to clear any outstanding payments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 34 years of experience in retail stock handling in the local market.
  • Good IT skills and qualifications from supply chain management or logistics institutes beneficial.
