Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Armament Technician to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of combat aircraft armament systems and explosives operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce all AFOSH and security standards during maintenance operations
  • Respond to emergencies and take necessary control actions
  • Perform maintenance in accordance with technical and quality management directives
  • Recondition, repair, and replace defective or missing parts of RAP and containers
  • Advises the TRAP Supervisor on factors limiting maintenance capability
  • Coordinates with Supply on TRAP inventory controls
  • Verifies storage facilities provide maximum environmental protection for TRAP
  • Uses technical data and documentation in accordance with T.O.s
  • Prepares assets for shipments in accordance with tasking actions
  • Submits timely and accurate serviceability records
  • Stores tools, replacement bench, and operational stocks in accordance with standards
  • Inspects and performs minor maintenance on facilities and installed equipment
  • Maintains assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Trains and supervises Asian and Local National staff on safety and maintenance practices
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of USAF Supply or equivalent and Tech Order systems
  • Proficient in personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduated from a USAF Armament technical school for combat aircraft armament systems/explosives operations or US service equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience with armament systems and explosives operations of diverse combat aircraft
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance
  • Physically capable of performing all required duties
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Normal color perception
  • U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience with inspection, maintenance, security, transportation, and storage methods of TRAP equipment and associated hardware
