Job Overview

Commissioning Engineer

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in a major Oil & Gas project.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering

Experience
  1. Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience gained in brownfield modifications to oil and gas or similar facilities, which must include offshore experience.
  2. The majority of the above experience should be working within a multi-cultural environment.
  3. A good command of written and spoken English.
Key Responsibilities

The Commissioning Engineer shall be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the plant/equipment is commissioned in an effective and safe manner, adhering to technical standards and internationally acceptable engineering practices.
  • Monitoring all related activities within the project site, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring that the work being carried out is in line with approved JHA and Risk Assessments.
