Job Description

You will be part of our business based in Doha, Qatar as an On-Site Support Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to provide Desk Side Support to IT users for all matters requiring physical intervention.

  1. Troubleshoot issues throughout facilities and with remote users, including managing facility and factory networks, servers, and hardware, and liaising with IT vendors to ensure business continuity.
  2. Manage printers, supplies, troubleshooting, and coordinate with technicians.
  3. Assist end-users with setup of mobile devices, including MFA, Wi-Fi, and email, and manage hardware and setup for internal Cisco phones.
  4. Manage shared user accounts and facilitate the deployment of hardware and software on Factory PCs.
  5. Assist with adding or modifying network connections and cabling, and manage various peripherals for user workstations.
  6. Work with multiple teams on IS and IT needs for integration of new devices and machines.
  7. Document issues, solutions, and potential problems, and provide ad-hoc training to IT users on common IT matters.
  8. Maintain physical stock management of devices and accessories, including CMDB updates, and manage logistics by shipping and moving devices across locations.
  9. Identify and report risks that might downgrade OSS service quality, and provide support to end-users, IT equipment, and software in meeting rooms and collaboration areas.
  10. Host and support third-party technicians, and perform regular checks of computer rooms, including temperature, air conditioning, cabling, and general functionality.
  11. FOLLOW GIVEN OSS GOVERNANCE AND PROCEDURES DEFINED IN RUNBOOK, SOPs, KNOWLEDGE ARTICLES, DRIVERS LICENSE BENEFICIAL FOR THIS JOB ROLE.
