About This Opportunity:

BAE Systems Qatar Technical Institute is seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to cadets within the General Engineering Mechanical trade boundary.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of training modules, contributing towards learners' attainment of externally accredited qualifications. You will assess learner performance in accordance with the assessment strategy and actively contribute to the continuing improvement of the QTI through identification of ideas and embracing suggestions from others.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training to QAF cadets within the QTI, predominantly in classroom settings but also in practical training areas.
  • Utilize presentation media and training devices/assets to deliver training and conduct assessment of learners through knowledge-based testing.
  • Maintain effective links with local QAF Cadet Welfare teams to support cadet welfare and discipline issues.
  • Develop and maintain a customer-focused approach to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all SHE requirements are met in the training environment and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements.

Requirements:
  • A Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & Learning, including 90 hours of teaching practice.
  • 5 years of experience in training delivery outside of QTTC or 2 years within, covering apprentice training, military trade training, type training, FE College (Engineering or Science), and TAQA qualification.
  • 2 years of experience in training design following the BSAT/DSAT model.
  • Fluent spoken Arabic is an advantage.
