Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team at the International School of London Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the school's brand and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the school's brand and reputation
  • Coordinate and develop the school's audiovisual strategy
  • Create and collect authentic stories of life and learning at ISL Qatar through various storytelling media
  • Maximise the school's digital media presence and visibility
  • Optimise the visibility of the school's digital platforms through SEO and paid campaigns
  • Align brand identity across different channels, online and offline
  • Support stakeholders in meeting requirements for ISL Qatar brand representation
  • Provide marketing training and support to colleagues
  • Monitor and analyse market and competitor activities to identify opportunities and recommend strategic actions
  • Perform market research and identify appropriate marketing and communications strategies and tools to reach set goals and targets

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar fields
    • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred
    • Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a lead role
    • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience:
    • Fostering the values, dispositions, behaviours, attitudes, and attributes of the ISL Qatar guiding statements and IB learner profile
    • Understanding of the trends of disseminating and amplifying digital content (social media, advertising, etc)
    • Relevant audiovisual skills and the ability to turn story ideas into digital content
    • Effective project management skills, defining deliverables and timelines
    • Sound user knowledge of MS Office, Adobe packages, and experience in managing content management systems, social media, and online publishing platforms
    • Ability to grasp the essence of the school story, legacy, and future changes
    • Ability to prioritise, plan, and work with deadlines, and coordinate with a team
    • Strong technology literacy skills
