About This Opportunity

As a Client Systems Administrator II at Trace Systems Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting our team in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for adding, moving, and changing client hardware and software to meet end-user needs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Hardware and Software Management: Add, move, and change client hardware and software to meet end-user data, voice, mobile, and video needs;
  2. System Support: Provide system support to clients operating on the network/domain;
  3. Software Configuration: Configure client-level software, modify software configuration, and perform basic configuration management functions;
  4. Equipment Relocation: Ensure notification of unit equipment custodian of any hardware relocation and equipment problems;
  5. Equipment Installation: Install equipment IAW AFCENT and SPIN-C directives;
  6. New System Implementation: Assist with installing, testing, and accepting new systems according to the terms of the purchase contract and instructions;
  7. Computer Resource Review: Periodically review the organization's needs for computer resources and validate computer equipment requirements;
  8. User Awareness: Promote user awareness concerning unauthorized or illegal use of computer hardware and software;
  9. Software Patches and Fixes: Implement client workstation software patches, security fixes, and service releases according to local instructions;
  10. Email Management: Perform e-mail management and assist users with creating PSTs and moving official emails to electronic file plans;
  11. Deployable Communications Suites: Support O&M of deployable communications suites (e.g., Executive Communication Kits (ECK), including equipment set-up, tear-down, troubleshooting, and maintaining, and managing security groups, folders, mailboxes, and permissions;
  12. Equipment Accountability: Establish, manage, and maintain equipment accountability (inventory/positive control) to include the tracking of assets from initial acquisition, during removal/replacement/repair, and through final disposition;
  13. Accountability Inventory: Ensure accounts are inventoried to validate the possession, location, and quantity of accountable assets annually, and conduct out-of-cycle inventories as required;
  14. Asset Tracking: Enter, update, and maintain assets in the appropriate government-furnished database and/or tracking system (e.g., AFEMS-AIM, or other approved accountable systems of record for accountability of hardware), and affix bar-coded labels, as required;
  15. Item Distribution: Manage distribution of accountable and non-accountable items to include issuing items to requestors and property custodians and document transactions in the appropriate government-furnished database and/or tracking system;
  16. Training: Provide initial and recurring annual training to property/equipment custodians to ensure proper tracking, accountability, and transfer of inventory;
  17. Report of Survey/Releases of Accountability: Assist with initiating Report of Survey/Releases of Accountability for lost, stolen, or damaged property;
  18. Asset Life Cycle Management: Assist with asset life cycle management and technical refresh planning, acquisition, and implementation activities;
  19. COTS Licenses and Warranties: Assist with the tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, service level agreements renewals for equipment and software;
  20. Equipment Updates and Enhancements: Analyze and recommend updates, enhancements, or replacements to extend the life or improve reliability of equipment;
  21. Disposal of Excess Property: When property is identified as excess and unserviceable, report the property to the appointed government representative for disposition instructions;
  22. Asset Final Destruction and Disposal: Prepare assets for and assist with asset final destruction and disposal;
  23. Warehouse and Storage Facilities: Manage, operate, and control warehouse and storage facilities used to store and stage equipment, material, and supplies; and ensure the facilities are clean, organized, and safe;
  24. Material and Storage Handling Equipment: Operate and maintain material and storage handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet, and hand trucks, pickers, stackers, racks, etc.);
  25. Daily Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of warehouse and storage facilities, vehicles, and storage and material handling equipment to ensure operability, serviceability, and safety; report discrepancies to government technical representative;
  26. Eligibility Requirements: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with eligibility;
  27. Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required;
  28. Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level: DoDM 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 or higher.
