HVAC Specialist

At Amentum, we are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.

• Perform scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhaul on systems and components to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Plan and conduct facility surveys to identify HVAC/R system needs.
• Manage HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs and activities to support various ACCOM systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless system operation and maintenance.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Applicable CFC/EPA certification, such as Section 608 Certification (Universal).
• Formal HVAC/R training, such as military technical training school, vocational college, or a four-year apprentice program.
• Four years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain.
