Job Title: Maintenance Technician

AccorHotel is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance work on a daily basis to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks for guest rooms and public areas, including repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Maintain clean and tidy tools and equipment, and ensure all stores are organized.
  • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review and evaluate tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance tasks, and communicate with supervisors as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supportive functions may include working towards achieving highest standards of guest satisfaction, involvement in other activities as advised by management, and support in snagging and desnagging processes.
  • Perform physical tasks that require experience in using basic hand and power tools, and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push, and pull weights up to 80 lbs.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting, and general maintenance is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar field as Ken Fix It.
Working Conditions:

The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety.

The hotel will provide the required PPE, and team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE.

It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged, or lost PPE or equipment that does not fit properly to your Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to find fault and rectify systems as and when required.
  • Any other duties and tasks as and when assigned by the superior or the hotel management.
