Job Summary

AG Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Keeping:
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and following up on overdue accounts.
Payroll Processing:
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, tax deductions, and other payroll-related items.
  • Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
General Accounting Support:
  • Provide support in budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
Customer Service:
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, vendors, and customers regarding financial matters.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidate) are a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary: QAR 3000/- all Inclusive
