United Development Company (UDC) is a leading private sector shareholding company in the State of Qatar and the Middle East, committed to identifying and investing in long-term projects contributing to Qatar's growth and development.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead and control our finance section activities, including payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgetary and financial reporting, and utility accounting, billing, and collection.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, UDC's accounting requirements, and the State of Qatar's accounting prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, organize, and lead the finance section activities effectively.
  • To ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and UDC's accounting requirements.
  • To analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • To manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance field, preferably CA or CFM.

• At least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in facilities management.

• Strong analytical skills, ability to read, interpret, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to show good communication skills with partners.
