Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This includes:

  1. Ensuring compliance with Project HSE requirements;
  2. Supporting the Lead Mechanical Engineer and liaising with other project team members as applicable;
  3. Ensuring that all activities and works are done in full compliance with HSE requirements and relevant authorities;
  4. Implementing COMPANY Contract requirements and reporting deviations to the Project Manager;
  5. Conducting safety walks, reporting accidents, and investigating incidents;
  6. Ensuring that works are done in accordance with Quality requirements;
  7. Following up EPCC Contractors and Subcontractors to assure quality and safety aspects;
  8. Following up and reporting on progress, including detecting deviations from the schedule;
  9. Assisting the Lead Engineer in coordinating the discipline scope and activity towards the Company;
  10. Ensuring that the EPCC Contractor schedule is commissioning-driven and following up on schedule and progress;
  11. Monitoring critical path activities throughout the project execution;
  12. Verifying Mechanical Completion activities;
  13. Verifying EPCC in accordance with EPCC Contract requirements and assisting the Commissioning team in Punch item categorization;
  14. Verifying and closing punch items in the area of responsibility;
  15. Coordinating identification, compilation, and implementation of lessons learned;
  16. Supporting the Lead Mechanical Engineer in coordinating training for the Company team;
  17. Ensuring that all implemented Project process technologies and their operation aspects are proven;
  18. Participating in verifying the Performance Test of the Project;
  19. Ensuring all tie-ins within the discipline scope are completed and ready for hook-up/installation;
  20. Identifying, reporting, and following up on risks within the area of responsibility.
