Key Responsibilities
  • Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Keep up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to your field of work, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
  • Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes to create a relaxing and calming environment.
  • Frequently check with guests to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service, addressing any concerns or needs promptly.
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings related to the spa, to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, maintaining a high level of hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms throughout shifts, disposing of trash and dirty linens, and securing supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor and adhere to time schedules throughout the day, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with Marriott International's standard operating procedures, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Maintain current skills and licensure in service areas as per regional requirements, staying compliant with industry regulations.
Requirements
  • State or Regional Massage License.
  • At least 1-year of related work experience.
  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience.
