Hotel Front Desk Coordinator

The Front Office Receptionist represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay at Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Beach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle all duties related to the front desk, including check-in/check-out, cashiering, taking reservations, handling phone calls and emails, assisting guests, directing them, etc.
  • Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests and coordinate the duties of the front desk.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests, and maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Perform tasks such as operating the PBX console, ensuring proper operation of the hotel, answering guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation, logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms, and completing all tasks and duties on the shift checklist.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions, and have knowledge of emergency procedures.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College coursework in a related field helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Computer experience required.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
