Job Title: Captain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join our team at West Bay beach, under the management of Discover Qatar. Our beachfront venues offer a unique and exciting work environment, with opportunities to provide exceptional customer service and promote a safe and sanitary work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and customer-focused service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Apply service techniques correctly at all times, guiding and monitoring staff to ensure that Food and Beverage items are served with enthusiasm and finesse.
  • Anticipate guests' needs by profiling customers and attending to their complaints and queries satisfactorily.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability, ensuring accurate and timely preparations.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the food & beverage menu to assist and provide advice to guests.
  • Supervise the service team to ensure that all duties are performed as per standards, providing coaching and developing junior staff.
  • Contribute to ensuring the Outlet is set up for service, supervising for a smooth operation, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu management and inventory control.
