Ophthalmic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a key member of our ophthalmology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with eye-related conditions.

• Diagnose and treat eye disorders, including orbital, lacrimal, and oculoplastic conditions.
• Perform surgeries, including refractive, eye muscle, cataract, glaucoma, corneal, and vitreoretinal surgeries.
• Prescribe ophthalmologic therapies, such as cryotherapy and low-vision therapy.
• Conduct thorough tests of the visual system to determine the severity and nature of ocular disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient medical history and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in eye disease diagnosis and treatment.

• Graduate degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS or equivalent).
• Western Board certification in Ophthalmology and eligibility for Consultant License in Qatar (MOPH criteria).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist, with at least 1 year in a government, semi-government, or teaching hospital.
• Arabic speaking candidates preferred.
