About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Officer to join our team at Artan Holding. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and distribute invoices to students in accordance with agreed schedules.
  • Receive payments from parents/employers and accurately enter them into our system.
  • Prepare banking details and process daily payments.
  • Reconcile banking transactions with system receipts on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on overdue payments and refer late payers to the Head of Corporate Services according to set policy.
  • Update debtors list daily and submit to Head Office as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial spreadsheets as per Head Office and Head of Corporate Services requirements.
  • Provide necessary documents for education vouchers and follow up collections as per set policy.
  • Generate regular reports on income, payments, and overdue payments.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Establish and maintain effective cash controls.
  • Support annual audit activities.
  • Provide efficient office management.
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
  • E nsure accuracy of financial data on Engage MIS system and Peach Tree.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
  • Team building and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
