Statistician Position

The UDST invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Statistics, starting August 2024.

About the Role:

• Design and deliver statistics courses for undergraduate students
• Conduct research in statistics and related fields, with opportunities for collaboration with industry partners
• Mentor students and provide academic guidance, supporting their growth and development
• Participate in departmental and university-wide committees, contributing to the improvement of academic programs

Requirements:

• PhD in Statistics or Applied Mathematics from a recognized institution
• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience as a faculty member in higher education
• Strong teaching and research skills, with a proven track record of publications
