Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Assist in the planning, implementation, and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Incident Investigation and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations of safety and health incidents and complaints, identifying root causes and providing corrective action strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate on teams to draft health and safety programs, providing consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance.
  • Audit and Assessment: Conduct health and safety audits and prepare assessment reports to characterize compliance and risk, providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in occupational health and safety, with a focus on program development and implementation, incident investigation, and audit and assessment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, excellent communication and analytical skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
