About Our Client

  • This client has a vacancy for a Construction Project Manager to lead the Topsides & STP contractor team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility.

Key Requirements

">
  1. Leads the monitoring and oversight of contractor team activities to ensure adherence to project requirements.
  2. Evaluates contractor performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
  3. Develops and provides routine progress reports to management and updates S-curve performance with analysis.
  4. Ensures contractor's Safety and Quality program is developed, implemented, and sustained at site.
  5. Reviews construction deliverables such as Method statements, construction procedures, Lifting schemes, etc. as per company specifications.
  6. Provides safety leadership by example to the Offshore Project Team and the Offshore contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors.
  7. Guarantees contractor implements and sustains HSES project deliverables.
  8. Represents the Offshore Project team as construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
  9. Communicates construction activities, progress, areas of concern, and mitigating actions to management and participates in weekly construction discipline review meetings.
  10. Implements execution activities and ensures development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution.
  11. Reviews and approves contractor's construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning, and method statements and participates in constructability reviews, HAZID workshops during construction.
  12. Coordinates all required construction support in liaison with the Offshore Topsides & STP.
  13. Evaluates construction risks and assists in providing mitigation measures. Reports Risks to management and reviews the EPCI level 3 schedule prepared by the Contractor.
  14. Monitors site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.

About the Appropriate Candidate

">
  • Engineering/Construction degree with relevant experience or Recognized Diploma in Engineering/Construction management with prior work experience.
  • Valid NACE or Equivalent level III Coating certificate.
  • At least 10 years of experience in coating, insulation, and architectural works of offshore Jackets, Topsides, Pipelines, and Sub-Sea structures.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation, fabrication, and construction of Architectural works of offshore buildings and coating and insulation of offshore structures including piping and Equipment with EPCI contractors.
  • Supervision of TSA coating works experience.
  • Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
