Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to protecting our applications from security threats. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust security measures are integrated into the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security strategies to safeguard our applications from cyber threats.
  • Utilize a range of tools and testing methods to identify potential security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate security best practices into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and manage security tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA to detect and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Assess third-party software and APIs to ensure they meet rigorous security standards.
  • Deliver regular security training and awareness sessions to developers, focusing on secure coding practices and industry standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in application security.
