Ophthalmic Specialist

The Ophthalmic Specialist is a medical professional responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related illnesses, diseases, and injuries. This role requires a high level of expertise and skill in organizing and maintaining clinical services to provide the highest possible level of patient care.

1. Clinical Schedule Management: Maintain a clinical schedule to provide timely and comprehensive medical services to patients.
2. Patient Care: Assume direct responsibility for patients under medical attendance in the assigned unit.
3. Referral and Collaboration: Refer patients requiring specialized medical care to specialists and other healthcare providers, ensuring optimal patient care.
4. Committee Participation: Participate in committees for upgrading services and organizing work within and outside the hospital.
5. Quality Improvement and Risk Management: Participate in the company's quality improvement and risk management programs, including reporting patient occurrences and continuing medical education.
6. Interventions and Procedures: Perform relevant interventions related to the field of specialization.
7. On-Call Duties: Participate in scheduling on-call duties and provide on-call services as required.
8. Supply and Equipment Management: Participate in the assessment and updating of drug, medical supply, and equipment needs.
9. Medical Records and Reporting: Write, complete, and approve medical records and reports for patients.
10. Guidance and Counsel: Provide guidance and counsel to other departments when requested.
11. Clinical Privileges: Complete and maintain a set of clinical privileges.
12. Compliance and Attendance: Comply with revalidation guidelines and standards, and attend company clinical meetings as reasonably requested.
13. Administrative Tasks: Complete and maintain administrative tasks, including billing, documentation, and related policies.

Salary: QAR 30,000 - QAR 35,000 per month
