Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Audit Plans: Design and implement risk-based audit plans to assess the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Conduct Financial and Operational Audits: Perform audits of our financial and operational processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Assess and Evaluate Internal Controls: Review and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of our internal controls to identify reportable issues and assess risk dimensions.
  • Communicate Findings and Recommendations: Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and draft comprehensive audit reports.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in internal auditing and risk management.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the insurance sector.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex audit findings to senior management.
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal control systems, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
