Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Waitress to join our team at Mondrian Doha. As a Head Waitress, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our restaurant operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and Develop Restaurant Operations

Under the guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for managing and developing the restaurant's food and beverage standards, ensuring maximization of departmental profits, and optimizing guest satisfaction through consistent high operating standards.

Lead and Guide Server Team

You will guide and lead the server team in the restaurant, ensuring that they provide exceptional service to our guests and that they are well-trained and equipped to handle any situation.

Perform Supervisor Duties

You will perform the duties of a supervisor on a regular basis, including managing cash floats, ensuring that requisitions for supplies are completed, delivered, and accounted for, and minimizing the use of overtime.

Maximize Sales Potential

You will work to maximize sales potential and encourage up-selling in order to maximize rates, while also ensuring that cash floats are secured at all times and that work is done within budgeted costs.

Ensure Guest Satisfaction

You will ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that their needs and requirements are met, including handling complaints and reporting any issues to the Restaurant Manager.

Collaborate with Colleagues

You will liaise with colleagues over guests' requirements and needs, ensuring that there is a seamless and efficient service provided to our guests.

Maintain High Standards

You will maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all areas, including food and beverage quality, guest service, cleanliness, and more.

Support Revenue Centers

You will support all other revenue centers in the hotel, such as Rooms and Events, to ensure that our guests receive a seamless and exceptional experience.

Be Results-Driven

You will be results-driven and totally accountable, attending daily business review meetings, weekly strategic sales meetings, management meetings, and other meetings as required/requested.

Protect Company Assets

You will undertake regular inspections to ensure that the company's assets are well-maintained and protected, and that the business is seen as a respected and important member of the community by local influencers.
