The lxbfYeaa seeks a highly skilled Interventional Cardiology Expert to lead our clinical team. As a key member of our hospital's medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and expertise in the assessment, investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage assigned clinics as per approved rotas.
- Perform initial assessments, request investigations, analyze results, diagnose conditions, and treat patients.
- Admit patients under your care when necessary and within approved privileges.
- Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness or disease.
- Communicate with patients and their attendants about procedures, diagnostic results, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patient condition and progress, reevaluate and treat accordingly.
- Refer patients to other specialists when necessary and consult with or provide services to other physicians as requested.
- Conduct daily rounds for in-patients and referred patients.
- Document patient medical records accurately and update progress notes in a timely manner.
- Ensure implementation of policies, procedures, rules, regulations, protocols, guidelines, and clinical pathways that guide clinical services.
- Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff in patient care.
- Contribute to policy development and continuous quality improvement of the department.
- Maintain respect for Islamic values and medical ethics.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed and assume department coordinator responsibilities.
- Respond to Code Blue situations and other emergency codes as required.
- Identify and transfer medico-legal cases appropriately with proper documentation.
