Job Description:

The Senior Drilling Sequence Manager will play a critical role in shaping the drilling sequence for North Oil Company Qatar's (NOC) operations. This involves managing the opportunity hopper, ensuring data comprehensiveness from NOC and other entities, and providing key inputs to the Drilling Sequence meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the reservoir opportunity hopper, incorporating inputs from various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with NOC entities to ensure comprehensive data on target definition, unconstrained and constrained stakes, risk assessment, and delivery constraints.
  • Proactively assess production and reservoir management optimizations related to drilling sequence framing.
  • Communicate progress on opportunities maturation to key stakeholders monthly.
  • Represent NOC in validation processes for drilling sequence and fall-back options.
  • Define team budget and engage with relevant stakeholders for cost control.
  • Set team strategic objectives and update them into the Quarterly Business Review process.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years' experience within a subsurface organization, preferably with geology experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geoscience, RE, or PE subject.
  • Understanding of NOC processes and entities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Cross-functional subsurface knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate at senior shareholder and board level.
