Job Description

The Global Tax Manager is responsible for managing tax compliance function for all Milaha entities in Qatar and internationally. This includes advising on withholding tax, Value Added Tax, customs, tax reporting, provisions etc.

Responsibilities:

  1. Tax expertise to manage compliance: preparation of tax returns, provision, computation, review of numbers, transfer pricing documentation across all regions.
  2. Taxation and reporting: support Reporting Manager in establishing and improving process and system complying with tax laws and ensure appropriate payment of taxes, quarterly provision of tax, deferred tax workings for effective tax reporting.
  3. Develop process and system to in-house tax compliance work such as filing of tax returns, relating to corporate tax, value added tax, withholding tax, trade or municipal taxes across all region.
  4. Work with accounting team to get all data, review and clean the data for filing the returns and supervise the calculation and payments of all kind of taxes.
  5. Prepare quarterly tax provision and deferred tax provision accounting entry for all Milaha entities.
  6. Support international expansion, and take lead on understanding tax filing requirements and reporting.
  7. Prepare and review of transfer pricing documentation across all regions.
  8. Prepare country by country reporting for the group.
  9. Support Reporting Manager in VAT implementation project across the company and organize deliverables with external advisers; also manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally.
  10. Carry out any other task assigned and comply with Milaha QHSSE and ISO requirements.
