Amentum Munitions Career Opportunities

At Amentum, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Munitions Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, inspecting, testing, transporting, and maintaining U.S. Air Force (USAF) munitions, as well as supporting resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Explosives Safety: Consistently observe and enforce all USAF and host nation explosives safety standards during all explosives operations.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of munitions and containers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct warehouse inventories and correct any discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Transportation and Shipping: Prepare and configure munitions shipments for air, sea, and surface transportation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must have completed formal USAF Munitions Systems training or equivalent experience. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skill Requirements: Proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
