Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Economic Evaluations: Design, implement, and interpret economic evaluations, including cost-effectiveness analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and cost-utility analyses, to assess healthcare interventions, programs, and policies.
  2. Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer strategic guidance and thought leadership on health economic research, methodology development, and evidence synthesis to support policy decision-making and resource allocation.
  3. Develop Advanced Models: Develop and apply advanced econometric models and statistical techniques to analyze large healthcare datasets and evaluate healthcare outcomes, costs, and utilization patterns.
  4. Lead Health Economic Modeling: Lead and oversee the development of health economic models, decision-analytic models, and budget impact models to support policy decision-making and resource allocation.
  5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, to provide economic insights and support evidence-based decision-making.
  6. Drive Health Policy Research: Drive the development and implementation of health policy research projects, including the analysis of healthcare reforms, reimbursement policies, and healthcare delivery models.
  7. Mentor Junior Staff: Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff, including research associates and analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring the quality of their work.
  8. Present Research Findings: Present research findings, policy recommendations, and economic analyses to internal and external audiences, including conferences, policy forums, and publications.
  9. Stay Abreast of Emerging Trends: Stay abreast of emerging trends, methodologies, and policy developments in health economics, and contribute to the organization's research agenda through thought leadership and proactive identification of research opportunities.
  10. Collaborate with Business Development Teams: Collaborate with business development teams to identify and pursue grant funding opportunities, prepare proposals, and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organization.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in economics or other related field, with the required experience in a health-related field.
  • Post-Doctoral Training: Post-doctoral training in conducting cost-effectiveness analyses and health economic evaluations is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 Years of Experience: Min 6 years of public health related experience OR relevant experience.
