Pool Attendant Position Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe pool deck environment by washing, mopping, and cleaning the area.

• Foster a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests by displaying a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

• Monitor recreational facility activities and respond promptly in case of an emergency, adhering to local operating procedures.

• Promote facility rules and regulations, ensuring guests are aware of and comply with them.

• Identify and report potential hazards or situations where guests may be unable to participate safely, informing supervisors or managers accordingly.

• Provide assistance to injured guests until medical help arrives, following company protocols.

• Maintain towels according to company procedures, including obtaining, folding, and stacking them correctly.

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, completing necessary safety training and certifications.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.

• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.

• Assist guests with disabilities, thanking them with genuine appreciation.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with others, developing and maintaining positive working relationships.

• Meet quality assurance expectations and standards, reading and verifying information in various formats.

• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects, using computers and/or point of sale systems to locate work-related information.

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

• Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and/or service ramps, reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.
