Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host and Hostess to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a Host and Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing situations and priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience: Similar experience in a luxury hotel and/or resort, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Language Skills: Strong command of written and spoken English, with additional language skills an added advantage.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
