About the Role:

Our team is seeking a skilled Aircraft System Maintenance Specialist to facilitate the review, evaluation, and distribution of system-related activities and tasks in Cabin and IFE Defect control/TECH Cell.

The ideal candidate will have experience in defect control and tech cell support functions, with a strong understanding of aircraft cabin/IFE and connectivity systems. They will be responsible for evaluating incoming deferred defects, troubleshooting recommendations, and TECH Cell support tasks from external requests.

In addition, they will prepare and distribute system serviceability and availability reports, management reports for all cabin-IFEC systems on Qatar Airways aircraft fleet type to set trends and performance.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge of data sources such as ERP systems, vendor BITE tools, and other technical/operational IT platforms used for management decision making and vendor performance review.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluating incoming deferred defects, troubleshooting recommendations, and TECH Cell support tasks from external requests.
  2. Preparing and distributing system serviceability and availability reports, management reports for all cabin-IFEC systems on Qatar Airways aircraft fleet type.
  3. Knowledge of data sources such as ERP systems, vendor BITE tools, and other technical/operational IT platforms used for management decision making and vendor performance review.
  4. Supporting production planning and control CB and IFE by providing technical task review feedback request for accomplishment feasibility of complex tasks, major modifications, and/or first-time tasks.
  5. Briefing senior management and managers on regular basis on respective aircrafts system DDs/TSRs and any pre-dock-in/pre-arrival critical requirements.
