Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new and exciting desserts to enhance our hotel's menu and engage our customers' interest.
  2. Maintain quality control systems to ensure consistency and monitor food shipments to meet established purchasing specifications.
  3. Communicate effectively with employees and managers to meet operational needs and attend regular meetings to coordinate between departments.
  4. Contribute to the creative process by challenging your superiors and peers and assist in developing new dishes and menus.
  5. Ensure strict maintenance of food and personal hygiene standards in the department and adhere to food cost targets.
  6. Interact with guests in a personalized manner and create special dining experiences.
  7. Lead by example and possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, prioritizing and adapting to the changing needs of the operation.
  8. Support the executive chef in administrative roles to establish high revenue streams and profitability in all outlets.
  9. Work collaboratively with colleagues to efficiently achieve goals.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

Previous high-end culinary experience is required. You should be well-organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have basic computer skills. Ability to stand for scheduled shifts and reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English are essential. Second languages are an asset, and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is vital.
