We are looking for a technical leader who can ensure the readiness and adequacy of resources for immediate intervention of any pipeline repair requirement. They will also support the preparation of CAPEX, OPEX, and Master Procurement Plan (MPP).

Job Overview:

  • The incumbent will lead our subsea pipeline specialized repair work in Doha, Qatar.
  • They will ensure the readiness and adequacy of resources for immediate intervention of any pipeline repair requirement.
  • They will support the preparation of CAPEX, OPEX, and Master Procurement Plan (MPP).

Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will be responsible for executing all phases of emergency pipeline repair lifecycle activities.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and adequacy of resources for immediate intervention of any pipeline repair requirement.
  • They will support the preparation of CAPEX, OPEX, and Master Procurement Plan (MPP).

Requirements:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Subsea Engineering, or other similar disciplines relating to upstream oil and gas from a recognised university.
  • A minimum ten (10) years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards and Codes of Practice, Shell DEP and competence in the design, specification, repair, and selection of pipeline systems.
  • Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer with professional bodies of Engineers is desired.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good command of English; shall read, write, and speak fluent English.
