**Job Purpose**

We are looking for a highly skilled Substation Electrical Engineer - Condition Monitoring to join our team at Gulf Energy Technology and Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our electrical distribution assets through condition monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct online/offline condition monitoring of electrical distribution assets.
  • Perform IR thermography and partial discharge testing on transformers, switchgear, RMUs, feeder pillars, and package units.
  • Supervise site crews and ensure work is carried out according to approved method statements.
  • Prepare urgent reports to Team Leaders in case of abnormalities in results.
  • Evaluate severity/asset condition and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or minimum three-year full-time diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 5 years of experience in electrical transmission and distribution substations.
  • Certification in Thermography Level-1 by an accredited institute.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety protocols for high-voltage installations.
