About the Role

The Airswift Group is currently seeking a skilled Pipeline Installation Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of pipelines on offshore oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of smooth project offshore development and coordination.
  • Supervise T&I and offshore activities on board SURF CTR vessel, in accordance with statement of requirements, Offshore specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure that offshore supervision of overall T&I activities on board SURF CTR vessel are executed in line with HSE, cost, planning and QA/QC objectives.
  • Assist in the progress control of T&I activities, ensuring they are executed in accordance with the organization's safety regulations, with quality conformance and delivered within schedule and approved budget.

Project Overview

The Ruya Project involves several EPC's that are executing in parallel over the period of 6 years, with a CAPEX investment of around 9 Billion USD. The project consists of:

  • New Wellhead Platforms: 9 WHP of different type (EPCIC11).
  • New Riser Platform (EPCIC12).
  • New Central Processing Platform: CPP with weight around 22-25kt & Flare Tower (EPCIC13).
  • New pipelines between WHP, CPP and existing facilities (EPCI09 SURF package).

The job holder will be involved in the EPCI09 SURF Offshore Campaign activities and will act as the Offshore Company Site Representative (CSR) on board EPC09 SURF CONTRACTOR vessel. They will report directly to the corresponding EPC09 SURF COMPANY Package Manager and the EPC09 SURF COMPANY Installation Lead.

Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure COMPANY HSE standards are applied by SURF Contractor throughout the operations.
  • To participate in hazard assessments chaired by SURF CTR.
  • To ensure proper implementation of the emergency procedures by SURF CTR.
  • To be the SURF Contractor's focal point for day to day activity onboard SURF CTR vessel.

In coordination with the CPY SURF Installation team based in Doha:

  • Participate in the SURF CTR team mobilization to SURF CTR vessel.
  • Follow-up of offshore operations and highlight any event having a potential impact on the operation to SURF Package management (with a particular focus on safety and planning).
  • When operation constraints result in a change to the SURF planning, provide SURF package management with objective information that will be used for the resolution of commercial/schedule discussions with the CONTRACTOR.
  • Assist in daily meeting on board SURF CTR vessel and report.
  • In charge of preparing the daily report and activity look-ahead.
