Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security assessments, including code reviews and vulnerability assessments, to identify potential security risks and threats.
  • Work closely with development teams to implement effective remediation strategies and ensure timely resolution of security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain threat models for applications and systems to identify potential security risks and recommend mitigations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and standards.
  • Analyze and specify security requirements for secure development at all phases of the SDLC.
  • Ensure security and privacy requirements are met before application development.
  • Implement and manage security tools for static and dynamic application security testing (SAST / DAST) and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in application security, including web services and cloud-based applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, plus substantial continued education and training in the field.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Experience with web and mobile application security, as well as DevSecOps practices.
  • Proficiency in security tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Fortify, and CI/CD integration.
