We are seeking a highly motivated Post Doctoral Researcher to join our team at the Polytechnicpositions. As a Post Doctoral Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of hydrogel synthesis and material science.

About the Project

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to engineer biogenic hydrogels, evaluating their nutrient release characteristics, water retention, and heavy metal adsorption in soil. You will also perform Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry Analysis of metal species and UV-Vis Spectroscopic Analysis, Thermal Gravimetric, and FT-IR spectroscopy tests.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Help in engineering biogenic hydrogels.
  • Evaluate hydrogels' mechanical properties and nutrient release characteristics.
  • Perform various spectroscopic analyses.

Requirements:

  • A PhD in Chemical, Environmental, Material Engineering or closely related disciplines.
  • A demonstrated record of scholarship and excellence in research related to polymeric hydrogels.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
