Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing, maintenance and repair of ROV systems and ancillary equipment. They will also assist with system certification, PMS and mobilisation/de-mobilisation activities, and provide technical and operational support to the ROV Superintendent and Workshop Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ROV systems and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough fault finding and repair of ROV systems.
  • Assist with system certification and mobilisation/de-mobilisation activities.
  • Provide technical and operational support to senior personnel.
  • Carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic work activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or vocational qualification (electricity and/or hydraulics and/or mechanics) and industry recognised certificates.
  • 5-7 years' experience in ROV related services.
  • Knowledge of Electronics and high voltage electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of hydraulic equipment preferred.
