About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Subsurface Geological Mapping Specialist to join our team at QatarEnergy. As a key member of our geological field development team, you will play a crucial role in integrating geological findings into comprehensive field development strategies.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all geological data is accurately interpreted and integrated with geophysical data for optimal resource extraction. You will utilize advanced geological software to create detailed subsurface maps and cross-sections, conduct thorough geological assessments to determine the viability of potential drilling sites, and review/interpret subsurface data to generate optimized drillable well locations and well proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Geological Activities: Coordinate in-house, laboratory, and specialist consultant activities to enhance project outcomes.
  • Review and Predict Reservoir Pressure: Review and predict reservoir pressure to optimize recovery and mitigate risks.
