Infrastructure Engineer Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join Qatar Project Management (QPM) as an Infrastructure Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and design of infrastructure engineering systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and HSE requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with the Design Manager to develop and implement infrastructure engineering system design procedures.
  2. Develop and maintain templates for client needs assessment, site surveys, cost estimation, tendering, and evaluation.
  3. Establish guidelines for value engineering and risk management to ensure effective project delivery and minimize costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with 2-3 years in a managerial role within a medium to large Project Management Company.
  • Degree-educated with a relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with Arabic being an advantage.
  • Familiarity with cost management and control techniques, as well as value engineering principles.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
