Job Overview

Tanqeeb is seeking a highly experienced Process Engineering Head to lead process engineering activities in major projects, specifically the Onshore Common Lean LNG Storage and Loading Expansion Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading process engineering design requirements, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Engineering Leadership: Provide process engineering knowledge, expertise, and leadership for the design and quality assurance of the process discipline.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure process engineering activities meet local regulatory requirements, codes, and standards, project specifications, and industry practices.
  3. Issue Resolution: Address process discipline issues timely to ensure HMB, PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOP, MDR, etc. meet major projects' objectives and schedule.
  4. Design Integrity: Ensure approved design recommendations and lessons learned are utilized to improve process design integrity, improve operability, and maintain high design safety standards.
  5. Contractor Management: Steward Contractors' process design and execution activities in accordance with specifications, verify adequacy of Contractor resources and personnel competency for the tasks, employment of appropriate tools, including the use of approved process software.
  6. Discipline Coordination: Coordinate and analyze discipline issues for resolution. Provide Process Engineering input to other engineering disciplines, procurement, commissioning, etc.
  7. Commissioning Support: Support commissioning and system completing activities and make appropriate recommendations to management on process discipline matters.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

10 years' experience in process engineering discipline in large oil & gas projects. Broad knowledge of engineering execution, including design practices, and exposure to onshore LNG facilities.

Skills

Strong leadership skills, personal integrity, experience guiding and assisting contractor teams.
