About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Science Analyst to join our Revenue Management Team at Precision Hire Solution. As a Senior Data Science Analyst, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts to design and build analytics methodologies solutions and products to deliver value where data is the basis for solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Management Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to operationalize revenue management goals, applying data science and technology to deliver results and meet revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of analysts to deliver reliable, on-time revenue management and commercial data, reducing the time between data generation and business usefulness.
  • Data Analysis: Build and execute solid analytics work plans, gather and organize large and complex data sets, perform relevant analysis, and build and track a list of data sources available within the company.
  • Communication: Translate sophisticated data science concepts into understandable and meaningful language to help the business adopt and transform.
  • Collaboration: Work with traditional revenue management data sources, including pricing, inventory, and market share, bringing skills in computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, and machine learning to deliver solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interpret the requirements of Revenue Management and other stakeholders, analysts, and specialists to develop efficient and reliable solutions that improve the quality of machine and analyst decisions.
  • Reporting: Compile statistical and supporting data to communicate findings, critical information, and insights to business stakeholders and make relevant recommendations to adapt existing business strategies.
  • Benefits Analysis: Assess and report on the benefits of data science tools, solutions, and results to contribute to future investment or business case decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Use a combined knowledge of computer science and applications modeling, statistics, analytics, and math to propose solutions and strategies to new data processing challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify challenges and opportunities gained from analysis and conclude cases by proposing business improvement solutions.
  • Cloud Solutions: Seek improvements in data storage and processing and contribute to implementation plans for data lake and cloud storage solutions.
  • Professional Development: Understand data science as an evolving field and work with departmental leadership to continuously seek out new solutions to deliver a competitive advantage.
  • Relationship Building: Develop constructive and collaborative relationships with other areas of Commercial and IT to support the vision of delivering 5-star connections with customers.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Revenue Management Team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in related disciplines such as Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Expert understanding of statistics, operations research, forecasting, and optimization methods.
  • Very good understanding of the airline business process, including Network Planning and Scheduling, e-commerce, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a command of the English language.
  • Expert understanding of IT-related topics.
