Job Title: Drain Operator

At Raffles Doha, we are seeking a skilled Drain Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and oversee daily operations to ensure the smooth functioning of our drainage systems.
  • Assist with the start-up, shutdown, and operation of facility equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Identify and resolve problems that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Contribute to the development of plant improvement strategies to enhance our operations.
  • Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Carry out preventative and maintenance measures to extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Monitor gauges, dials, switches, and alarms to ensure all machines are functioning properly.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, adhering to our high standards.
  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to complete tasks and achieve team goals.
  • Respond to emergency calls as needed, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to our guests and staff.
  • Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition, adhering to our maintenance schedules.
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing.
  • Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any uncorrectable conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow company and departmental safety and security policies to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
  • Attend all departmental trainings and other training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately upon occurrence to the shift in charge.
  • Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and use correct lifting procedures to avoid injury.
  • Follow hazardous material management program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, using material safety data sheets.
  • Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to the shift in charge.
  • Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
  • Complete appropriate fire and safety trainings and certifications to perform work tasks.
  • Be available for emergencies and act in a professional manner to protect our guests, staff, and preserve the hotel property and its systems.
