About the Role

This is a senior-level position within the Downstream Finance Planning and Performance Management Department (DSP&PMD). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of multibillion USD business product lines and their consolidation into the Downstream business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in business planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Provide analysis, explanations, and recommendations for regular planning and performance management tasks, including business plan preparation, periodic performance tracking, measurement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Conduct special planning and performance management-related studies, such as performance initiatives and business cases development, scorecard creation and monitoring, target setting, benchmarking, risk management, and design/redesign of measurements, processes, workflows, and information system-related changes.
  • Develop new financial models or review segment-related models, offering economic insights on earnings, investments, and energy market matters.
  • Perform benchmarking analysis to identify value opportunities.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, or a related field. Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • At least 12 years of industry-relevant experience, demonstrating a strong commercial and financial understanding of the Downstream value chain, such as chemicals trading or refining.
  • Expertise and a proven track record in planning and performance management practices, including performance analysis, assessment, and reporting; financial (IFRS) reporting; business planning/budgeting; business case preparation; project management; and financial modeling.
  • Experience working in one or more areas of the Downstream value chain, particularly in planning and performance management functions.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data, with experience in business intelligence tools being advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong written and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex analyses into simple concepts.
What We Offer

This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
