About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team in Doha. As a key member of our mobile crew, you will be responsible for designing and building the next generation of our award-winning Mobile Banking application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure, robust, and scalable Android applications using Java/Kotlin
  • Participate in the design and build of new features and functionalities
  • Work with external data sources and APIs to integrate with our mobile application
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Provide technical solutions and ensure adherence to good software practices
  • Partner with UX designers, architects, back-end development teams, and QA to deliver a high-quality product
  • Create, manage, and automate continuous testing of features
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in IT Software Engineering with 7+ years of native Android development experience
  • Fundamental experience in designing secure, robust, and scalable applications
  • Familiar with design principles and knowledge of Version Control System (Git)
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Experience in test-driven development, continuous Integration and Deployment
  • Strong software engineer with high dedication to app development
  • High degree of creativity in designing user-friendly applications
  • Good team player
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English
  • Analytical skilled person who manages to cope with complex challenges in software engineering
