Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services, and protection of our asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the structural aspects of the hotel, including the maintenance of grounds and external facilities.
  • Monitor and control expenses within all areas of the department to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Determine the security requirements necessary to protect hotel property, employees, guests, and patrons from theft, crime, and other hazards.
  • Manage the relationship with a third-party security firm, if contracted, to ensure seamless security services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel operations, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
