Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Runner to join our Housekeeping team. As a Laundry Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry and linen services, including dispatching, collecting, restocking, and delivering supplies to guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to shift on time, dressed in uniform, and maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
  • Attend daily briefings and training sessions as required.
  • Deliver items to guests in a timely manner and according to established standards.
  • Sign in and out master keys and devices daily, and ensure their safekeeping.
  • Report maintenance issues and escalate requests when repairs are delayed.
  • Receive and store goods in designated storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
  • May be requested to assist with cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and sweeping.
  • Deliver and set up stores according to established standards.
  • Keep accurate and clear records of incoming and outgoing items, including OS&E items, cleaning supplies, and minibar items.
  • Collect goods from floor store rooms to pickup stations or pantries.
  • Restock pantries with amenities and linens according to set standards.
  • Deliver goods and supplies to designated floor store rooms after restocking is completed.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly inventory for all store room items, ensuring clear and accurate records are maintained.
  • Notify supervisors of low stock items and raise requisitions for consumable items.
  • Escalate par level needs of all consumable items to higher management.
  • Ensure all machineries are cleaned and in good condition, and all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.
  • Hand in and properly tag non-valuable lost and found items in the Housekeeping Office, and report valuable items found to supervisors immediately.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures, service standards, and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping storeroom experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills, knowledge of Excel, and computer skills are required.
  • Positive attitude, fluent in English, and basic IT knowledge are essential.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with good communication and organizational skills.
  • Service-oriented, responsible, and reliable, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Full understanding of the Raffles & Fairmont vision, values, and standards.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, with no remote work options.
